Since so many of our questions are based on season predictions, we need your help to develop new questions for the National Championships. Please leave your suggestions below, email them to [email protected], or tweet us at @TheJudgesTable.
With the Grand Prix circuit closed and the Final slowly creeping up on us, The Judges' Table is also preparing to judge US National Championship, Japanese National Championships, and possibly also Russian and Canadian National Championships, depending upon interest. Sign up here if you're interested in judging any of those!

This was a rough weekend for everyone. Paris remains on everyone's minds. If nothing else, I'm grateful all of the skaters, coaches, families, fans, and delegations remain safe.
While I'm usually of the opinion that it's important to keep going with our lives as we ordinarily would have, it is also important to respect both the lives lost and the lives of those who survived and who now must figure out how to keep moving forward. In deference to everyone affected by the terrorism in France this Friday, living and passed, The Judges' Table will not be rejudging the Trophée Éric Bompard short programs this week. Thanks to the judges who would have participated this week. There will be another opportunity for you to participate this season. We'll be back next weekend with the Rostelecom Cup in Russia. In the meantime, have a peaceful week. It's hard to believe, but with three Grands Prix down, we're halfway through the 2015-2016 GP season. The Judges' Table has reviewed performances - and the judges' performances - at Skate America, Skate Canada, and the Cup of China, and I wanted to thank all the participants and readers for making that possible. I hope you've been having as much fun reading and writing as I've had putting everything together!
Thanks to the interest in judging even more events, I've added the Japanese, Russian, and Canadian National Championships to our list of potential events, as well as the European Championship and Four Continents. If you're interested in judging any of these events or any upcoming Grand Prix, please sign up! If you've already done that (thank you!) and would like to express your interests in any particular events, please email [email protected]. We've gotten a lot of really helpful feedback and critiques over the past few weeks, as well - I'm working on making the site a little easier to navigate as well as incorporating fun bonus questions that focus a little bit less on the actual scoring (observations on costumes, helping skaters pick out more unique music, etc.). If you have suggestions or feedback, feel free to send an email or reach out on Twitter. Thanks again for making The Judges' Table such a fun experience for everyone! Check back this week for updates to our judging list in preparation for the Trophée Éric Bompard. |
