Over at Figuratively Speaking, Meghan broke down the schedule of the event, and at Rocker, Jackie is trying to help us figure out how this whole thing works.
Here are our judges for this event!
Emily (@Emilyjoyellis1)
What's your favorite grossly underscored skate of the last five years? Most recent: Misha Ge 2016 Words SP. An elegant interpretation of Rochmoninov's No.2 that drew me in peacefully and left me invested. Though lacking quads, the PCS certainly didn't reflect the beauty that was this program.
Matthew (@mrusskie93) | Cincinnati Ballet
What's your favorite grossly underscored skate of the last five years? Carolina Zhang's SP at 2013 Nationals was one. Her 3/3 was no more short than the year before, but it got massacred by the technical panel. Also Brian Joubert's LP at 2013 Worlds right after Chanflation. Most recently, I would have had the Shibs first at SC and Edmunds third at COR without hesitation.
Meghan (@DadeMeghan) | Figuratively Speaking
What's your favorite grossly underscored skate of the last five years? The fact that Michelle Kwan did not win the 1998 Olympics is still a major tragedy that haunts me.
Tiffany (@TiffLangston) | Tiffany Langston
Favorite grossly underscored skate of the last five years: Anytime Mae Berenice Meite skates, but we'll go with her 2014 Olympic short program.
